The Last Ferry

The 6:10 departure is losing its route. Kenji Okada spends the last season aboard, with the crew who know every regular’s order and the shopkeepers who plan deliveries around the wake.

Nobody makes a speech about the end of a way of life. They argue about a timetable, a pension, and whether the replacement bus will run in the rain. The film trusts those arguments.
