Night Market

A translator is hired to render a will before morning. Every new clause contradicts the last, and the family who commissioned it keeps moving the meeting between stalls. Adewale Okonkwo stages the whole film over a single night of fluorescent light, debt, and a document nobody wants to sign in its current form.

It is the festival’s late picture: Saturday in the Main Hall, Sunday in the Studio. Sit where you can read the subtitles.
