Over one summer, two architects correspond about rooms, budgets, and the life they are not going to share. Camille Laurent shoots almost everything in a single Paris courtyard. The letters are read in voiceover while laundry, rain, and a neighbor’s piano fill the pauses.

The film is a romance that refuses the reunion scene. What it offers instead is attention: how someone describes a window when they know the other person will never stand at it.
